Corinne Maier is a psychoanalyst and writer. Born in Switzerland, has studied Political Science (at the Institut d’Etudes Politique de Paris), and Psychoanalysis (Ph.D.).
She has written bizarre biographies, serious books about psychoanalysis and art, and tongue-in-cheek books. Some of her books have been translated and one of them, Hello Laziness, a best-seller worldwide, has been released in 30 countries.
This provocative book, in French, Bonjour Paresse, describes the absurdity of big companies and advises people to do the minimum at work.She drew this manifesto from her own experience when she worked as an economist for the giant electrical company EDF (Electricity of France) before being fired as a result of the book.
